I remember reading all these recommendations like it was yesterday. I couldn’t believe all the stories. Couldn’t believe Samuel’s program worked- until I finally made the jump and committed to it.

Now I’ve gotten a medical sales role! I was a clinician and small practice owner for 15 years looking to do something different for my career. I had tried applying to different places but would never hear back. Tried listening to the podcasts and reading posts about the field. I felt deep down I had the ability to do this, and was willing to work at it, but just wasn’t getting an opportunity and had no idea where to start. I knew I needed help.

I just got a job offer from Globus Medical! I had previously been employed as a Special Education Teacher. I want to thank Samuel and the Evolve Career Builder. I was able to get a few interviews prior to getting the service, but unable to secure an offer. Samuel and the team changed all that!

I’m so excited to announce I’ve started with Neuronetics as a Traveling Associate Practice Development manager! With my passion for holistic health and my background in mental health and substance use, i truly feel like this is the perfect fit. I couldn’t be more passionate about what we offer and can’t wait to make a difference.

Before joining Neuronetics, I spent eight years working in mental health and substance use treatment facilities. Alongside that, I’ve been in the service industry—bartending and working various roles—on and off since I was old enough to work. My experience includes residential care, field work, and independent contracting, where I developed and delivered group therapy curriculums for outpatient programs. Most recently, I helped launch a startup recovery center, serving as the lead case manager and group facilitator, while also taking on the many responsibilities that come with building something from the ground up.

Life before the MSCB program felt stagnant. I knew I didn’t want to pursue a master’s degree to become a therapist, and because of that, I felt like I had hit a ceiling in terms of growth in the mental health field. In early 2024, some friends introduced me to the medical device industry, thinking it might be a good fit. At the time, I was exhausted from juggling bartending and case management just to make ends meet, and I felt completely stuck in the career path I had chosen.

Curious and hopeful, I started diving deep–listening to all of Samuel’s podcasts and researching different divisions within the medical device space. That’s when I discovered a strong interest in neuromodulation, chronic pain management, and TMS. I went through a few interview processes and made it to the final stages each time, but I wasn’t landing any offers.

It wasn’t until I attended a networking event and met April from EYS that things shifted. She introduced me to the MSCB program. Knowing the power of mentorship and community, I didn’t hesitate to join.

Going through the program, I built invaluable relationships and lifelong friendships, while also gaining a tremendous amount of confidence in myself. MSCB provided the tools and resources I needed to take my transferable skills and apply them directly to the medical device industry—specifically in divisions that aligned with my strengths and interests. I just landed a job offer from In my previous role as VP of Operations and Sales within eyewear, I knew I found my niche and I am delighted to stay in the vision industry.

Prior to transitioning into the medical device industry, I was a surgical tech for 9 years. I am thrilled to announce I just stepped into a new role as an Associate Clinical Representative with . I want to thank the Medical Sales Career Builder (MSCB), this wouldn’t have been possible without them!

Previously I worked as an occupational therapist in an acute care setting. And before that, as a freelance photographer. I’ve made big career jumps before, but I wanted to be more intentional and prepared this time. In school, I remember learning about emerging technologies and the valuable role that OT’s can play in non-clinical spaces, given our unique training. However, I had no idea how to grow beyond the clinic. 

Before enrolling in the Medical Sales Career Builder program, I didn’t even know what I didn’t know. I was listening to podcasts, reading blog posts, and taking inconsistent shots in the dark for networking. My biggest hesitation to sign up for coaching was committing myself to a goal when I didn’t yet have a clear direction in mind.

My background has been in nursing, everything from bedside care to travel nursing and IV clinic work; stepping into medical sales felt like uncharted territory. Huge thanks to mentors like Nidhi, Blake, Jules, Shawna, and Aaron, who supported me throughout this journey and are people who genuinely care. 

Before this, I barely knew where to start. I had friends in pharma sales but wasn’t familiar with the broader field of medical device sales or how many opportunities it offered. I wanted a way to continue helping patients in a new capacity, but I didn’t know how to approach the interview process, understand different companies, or even determine the right path within medical sales for my skills and goals.

EYS was like a roadmap, breaking down each step in a way that felt almost like solving a puzzle. They helped me recognize how my clinical background as an RN is full of transferable skills that are valuable in medical sales. The program also laid out the companies, roles, and key industry players that aligned with my experience and interests, giving me the knowledge and confidence to navigate interviews successfully.

I’ll admit, I hesitated initially. I wasn’t sure if EYS was legitimate. But after talking to April and connecting with people who had been through the program, I knew they were genuinely invested in helping professionals like me succeed. It’s something we laugh about now!

One year ago, I was a registered nurse in the Emergency Department here in Columbus, OH, when Samuel from Evolve Success reached out to me. His question was simple: “Have you ever considered a career in medical devices?” The truth was, I had.

At that time, I was three months into my journey trying to break into the medical device field. I had already “considered” that I no longer wanted to be a bedside nurse. I had also decided that enough was enough.

I’m Now a Medical Territory Manager! I was a Regional Sales Representative for Long-Term Care pharmacy services. I had dreamed of getting into the med sales industry when I went into my career as a nurse, but the pharmacy sales job came to me, and I had just settled. Fortunately, I had a job shakeup that allowed me to determine that now was the time to pursue my original vision. I absolutely would not have this position without Samuel and the Evolve Your Success community. A lot of people my age would just stop trying, but EYS believed in me. EYS allowed me to break into the industry in 90-Days after I had been trying on my own for over two years! I had lots of recruiter screenings, and a few interviews with hiring managers, but I was never offered a position. Before EYS, I didn’t realize I was doing the bare minimum to get hired. I was applying everywhere, hoping to get noticed and waiting. It just wasn’t working! I didn’t know that that was not enough to compete in an industry this sought after, and against people who knew what I didn’t know about the process. Of course, I had to think hard before making a financial investment that’s reasonably substantial. I landed my dream role at and am excited to make a difference in patients’ lives as a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist.

After working as a nurse for 13 years and running my own floral design business I wanted to find a way to blend my clinical background and entrepreneurial experience to pursue a fulfilling career in medical sales.

Before I enrolled in the Medical Sales Career Builder I was hesitant to begin my journey and wanted to make sure I could be as prepared as possible when working to break in. I am a former teacher with some sales experience, and switching to medical sales felt like an impossible leap. For about two years, I applied for medical sales jobs, but I didn’t even get a single interview. I tried applying directly on LinkedIn, but that didn’t work. I had heard about EYS, and did some research on it. I have just accepted a Professional Education Associate role at Nevro and I can’t wait to get started!

I’ve been in public education for the past six years. As much as I’ve loved being a teacher, I knew I wanted to go further professionally. I’ve seen the struggle my colleagues have gone through trying to transition out of teaching and knew I wanted to be strategic in switching industries.

I stumbled upon Samuel’s Medical Sales Podcast by what felt like fate, binged it for about three weeks, then decided to take plunge and signed up for the Medical Sales Career Builder Course. I just started a new role as a senior clinical specialist at Medtronic in the Deep Brain Stimulation division!

My previous role was a neuro occupational therapist, working on a specialized brain injury unit. I truly loved my work as an OT, however I didn’t see much growth opportunity in this career. I love to work hard and, unfortunately, there are limited opportunities to achieve new goals and experience new challenges in this type of role, along with limited incentives to work hard.

I want to express my deepest thanks and appreciation to Samuel Adeyinka’s Medical Sales Career Builder program. He an his team delivered what was promised and more, and this opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without their expertise and guidance.

Before joining the Medical Sales Career Builder program, I was applying for jobs that, in hindsight, were a poor fit based on my background and interests. I didn’t even know neuromodulation existed before joining MSCB and I’m so grateful for the extensive education I received on the potential avenues to explore within the medical sales industry. Before joining the program, I was searching for jobs on LinkedIn with no clear direction or foundational knowledge about the subdivisions within each industry or the type of work involved with each role.

My initial hesitation with signing up for MSCB was the cost, however it turned out to be an excellent return on investment. I received a $35,000 increase in salary, and that number will continue to grow at a much faster pace now than in my previous role.
